Place-and-Train without Conversion Programmes are targeted at mid-career job seekers, who require considerable skills top-up to be placed into job roles similar to their current one. Trainees will undergo structured on-the-job training of up to three months to be upskilled into their new job roles.

e2i works with our partners to develop such programmes to help address manpower shortages in many industries and to tackle skills-gaps among job seekers interested in taking on the available jobs.

 

The funding rates are as follows:

Salary Support / Training Allowance^ Up to 50% of monthly salary for training duration (capped at $2,800 per month) Up to 70% of monthly salary for training duration (capped at $4,200 per month)

*For mature / Long-Term Unemployed (LTU) Singapore Citizen / Permanent Residents trainees. Mature trainee is defined as being aged 40 and above in the year of programme commencement. LTU trainee is defined as being unemployed and actively seeking employment for six months or more.
