ESD Awareness and Control Training Program

Course Objectives:
This program is based on the ANSI/ESDA S20.20 - 2014. It trains and tests personnel about the technical requirements for ESD Awareness and Control.

Course Outline:
Day 1:

  1. Introduction to static electricity and Electrostatic discharge (ESD).
  2. Levels of perception.
  3. Conductors, insulators and dissipative materials.
  4. Identifying and eliminating the threat from non-conductive materials and activities which create static electricity and ESD.
  5. Electrostatic discharge sensitive (ESDS) components.
  6. ESD Control.
  7. Personnel.
  8. Grounding and Testing.
  9. Personnel Protective Equipment and Testing.
  10. The ESD Protected Area (EPA).
  11. ESD handling, storage containers and transportation.

Who Should Attend:
Manufacturing specialists, including managers, designers, assembly, inspection and other quality personnel.
