Attractions
Overview
The tourism industry plays an integral role in showcasing Singapore as an entertainment and leisure hub, with tourism accounting for 4% of Singapore’s GDP. To ensure that Singapore continues to flourish as an exciting tourism hub for years to come, plans are in the pipeline to develop new attractions around the city. The industry currently employs over 160,000 workers and is set to expand its reach with the development of the Mandai 2020 project, Sentosa Island 2030 masterplan and Jurong Lake District.

Job Redesign
e2i supports companies in their productivity ideas through funding and process re-design to raise productivity and share gains with workers.
E.g. e2i partnered with KidZania Singapore in funding and redesigning their productivity solution – The automated facial recognition solution effectively helped in reducing the time required for workers to manually tag guests with RFID bracelets and archiving the data into the system. The gains from the improved productivity were shared with the workers.
